Social media, measured against enquiries

Posting daily is not a strategy. It is a schedule that feels like one.

Stewardr runs social media for businesses that need it to produce enquiries rather than followers. That starts with an unpopular question: whether your business needs social media at all, and if so which single platform. Most small businesses spread themselves across four channels, post filler on all of them, and conclude social does not work — when what did not work was doing four things badly.

First question

Does your business actually need it

For some businesses social is the primary channel. For others it is a tax paid because competitors are doing it. The honest split is roughly this:

If your Google Business Profile is incomplete, spending on social is the wrong order of operations. The listing costs nothing, reaches people actively looking for you, and takes an afternoon. Social reaches people who were not looking.

What we run

One platform, properly

Chosen for where your buyers actually are, not for coverage. Adding a second only once the first works.

Content produced in-house

Video, stills and graphics made by us rather than farmed out, which is why the quality stays consistent.

Google Posts included

The most ignored channel in local marketing. Posts on your Business Profile reach people already searching for you.

Paid where it earns

Meta and LinkedIn ads when there is a reason. Reported against cost per enquiry, not reach.

Replies and messages

Comments and DMs answered properly. An unanswered enquiry in Instagram messages is a lost customer.

Plain monthly reporting

Enquiries, calls and saves. Not impressions, not reach, not engagement rate.

What we will not do

Buy followers, post trending audio unrelated to your business, or fill a calendar with national-day graphics. All three are common, all three produce numbers that look like progress, and none of them produces an enquiry. If a month has nothing worth saying, we would rather post twice than pad to twelve.

Content production overlaps heavily with AI-assisted content, which is what makes a genuinely consistent output affordable at small-business budgets.

Not sure whether social is your gap?

The audit covers your Google listing and your existing social presence, and says plainly which one deserves the budget first.

Questions

What people ask about this

How often should a small business post?

Less often than most agencies propose, and better. One strong post a week that says something specific beats five filler posts, and it is sustainable, which matters more than either.

Which platform should we be on?

For local consumer businesses, Instagram plus Google Posts. For B2B, LinkedIn alone. Being on four platforms badly is worse than one properly.

Do followers matter?

Rarely. A clinic with 400 local followers who live nearby is worth more than 40,000 scattered ones. We report enquiries rather than follower counts.

Do you handle paid ads too?

Yes, where there is a reason for them. Paid works best once the organic content and the Google listing are already in order, otherwise you are paying to send people somewhere unconvincing.

Can you work with our existing content?

Yes, and often that is the cheapest start, most businesses already have usable photographs and footage nobody has edited or scheduled.
