Search and paid ads, measured against enquiries and calls rather than impressions.
Most owners have never looked. Free 60-minute audit of your website and Google listing, whatever it finds, the report is yours to keep.
Not ready to talk? Read the guides or get one broken website taken apart every Tuesday.
Stewardr rebuilds outdated business websites and Google Business Profiles, then maintains them so they don't fall behind again. We work with businesses in any industry, clinics, builders, manufacturers, retailers, professional firms. Some have a presence that needs rescuing, and some have one that is fine and needs keeping that way.
This is what a first scan finds on a typical business website. Not a bad one: a normal one, run by people with better things to do.
Loads in over eight seconds on a phone.
Content runs off the screen on mobile.
Google listing is a third complete. Hours are wrong.
No analytics. Nobody knows who visits.
AI assistants can't read half the pages.
Domain and hosting registered to someone else.
The average score we see on a first scan
Not a judgement, nobody knows these off the top of their head. That's exactly the problem. They're the things no one checks, because the owner already knows where everything is.
You'd never know from your own laptop, your browser remembers the site. A customer on 4G doesn't get that.
Half of mobile visitors leave before three seconds. They don't complain about it either; they just open whoever loads first.
It was designed on a laptop. Almost everyone visits it on a phone.
Text runs off the edge. The menu sticks. The number won't dial. Small things, but each one is a customer who couldn't reach you.
It's the first thing people see, before your website, before anything.
Most businesses fill in the name and address once, then never go back. Wrong hours, old photos, no services listed, reviews nobody answered.
Most owners don't know, and usually nobody else in the business does either.
Which means nobody can say which marketing worked, and the budget keeps going wherever it went last time.
The domain, the hosting, the Google login, often all in the developer's name.
It doesn't matter until he stops answering the phone. Then you find out you don't own the address your customers use.
It used to be simple. Someone typed what they wanted into Google, got ten links, and clicked a few. Your website's job was to be one of those links.
That's no longer how most people start. They ask a question, to ChatGPT, to Gemini, to the AI answer at the top of Google, and get one answer back. What comes back is a single answer with two or three businesses named in it.
The customer decides before your website is ever opened.
Here's the catch. That answer is built from whatever the machine can find about you. If it's thin or out of date, you either don't get named, or you get named wrongly.
And you can't edit it. There's no page to log into and correct what an AI says about your business. The only way to change the answer is to fix what it's reading.
Before any of this matters, an AI crawler has to get into your site and understand it. On most business websites it can't, and nobody has ever checked.
A machine that can't read your page can't recommend you from it.
Fixing this isn't exotic. Let the right crawlers in. Put your services in text a machine can read, not baked into a picture. Add structured data so it knows what you do. Answer the questions your customers actually ask, in plain words, on the page.
The boring parts became the important parts. The hours field. The services list. Things that used to be admin now decide whether a machine recommends you.
Same question, same business. The only difference is what the machine could read.
Send your website and Google listing. In 60 minutes you'll have all of it in writing, free of charge, with no call required, and yours to keep even if we never speak again.
Take one, or several. Most start with the first two and add the third.
Rebuild what's there, or start again. Fast, works on phones, and you can update it yourself.
The highest-return hour anyone can spend on local visibility. Categories, photos, services, hours, reviews.
Updates, backups, monitoring, security and fixes when something breaks. So it never rots again.
One platform done properly, measured against enquiries rather than followers.
Explainers, product films and social video, produced in-house at a cadence you can actually sustain.
Whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI answers can read you, and whether they recommend you.
One repetitive process at a time, enquiries, quotes, documents, measured in hours returned.
Search and paid ads, measured against enquiries and calls rather than impressions.
Booking systems, dashboards, internal tools, when an off-the-shelf product doesn't fit.
Four steps. Stop after the first and owe nothing.
Send your website and Google listing. In 60 minutes you get a written report of what's wrong, ranked by what it's costing you. Free, and yours to keep, even if you hand it to your existing developer.
Fixed scope, fixed price, in writing, before anything starts. Billing is not hourly, and there is no invoice at the end that anyone has to argue about.
Two to four weeks for most rebuilds. You see it as it's built, not at the end.
A monthly care plan, or we hand everything over and you run it yourself. We'll tell you which one you actually need.
You do. Your domain, your hosting, your Google account, your analytics, your content, your code, in your name, with your access, from day one.
If you stop working with us, you keep all of it and we hand over the passwords the same week. We say this plainly because too many businesses have been held hostage by whoever built their last website.
I'm Vasudev Kale. Over a decade in marketing, and Stewardr is what I do now.
I kept seeing the same thing, good businesses with real customers, represented online by a site nobody had opened in years. It wasn't that anyone stopped caring; the job simply never belonged to anyone.
I'm not an agency. There's no account manager sitting between you and the person doing the work. That limits how many clients I take on at a time, which I'd rather say now than have you find out later.
It depends on how much needs rebuilding, which is what the free audit establishes. As a rough market picture, most Indian agencies quote between ₹25,000 and ₹1,50,000 for a small business site. Anything under ₹15,000 is usually a template with your logo on it. We quote a fixed price in writing before any work starts.
Two to four weeks for most business websites, from the day we have your content and images. The delay is almost never the build, it's waiting on photographs and approvals.
If it loads in under three seconds, works on a phone, and you can edit it yourself, an update is probably enough. If it fails any of those three, rebuilding is usually cheaper than repairing.
Yes, and this is the most common reason people run the audit. A site that was built well two years ago can still be invisible to AI assistants, missing structured data, or sitting on a Google listing nobody has touched. The audit is free precisely so that "mine's fine" can be confirmed rather than assumed.
It's completing and maintaining the free listing that appears when someone searches your business name or a service near them: categories, services, hours, photos and review replies. For local businesses it's usually the highest-return work available, and it's also a primary source AI assistants read when deciding who to recommend.
Often not. Many business sites block AI crawlers in robots.txt without realising, put their services inside images, or load key content only after scripts run. Add no structured data and the machine is left guessing what the business does. The audit checks all of this and tells you exactly what's invisible.
You do, completely. Domain, hosting, Google account, analytics and code are all in your name with your access from day one. If you leave, you take everything and we hand over passwords within the week. It's in the contract, not left to trust.
Almost certainly. We're deliberately not industry-specific: the problems are the same for a dental clinic, a construction firm or a manufacturing unit. What changes is the vocabulary, and that's part of what the audit works out.
A written report inside 60 minutes: speed, mobile, your Google listing, whether AI assistants can read you, and the three things worth fixing first.
Please add your business name and either an email or a phone number.
